Welcome
Le Canon is situated in the historic Provence region in the south of France. This beautiful region is bordered by the Alps to the east, the Rhône River to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Its variable landscape ranges from the fertile plains of the Rhône valley, to mountains in the east and marshlands in the south. The Provencal climate is typically Mediterranean, warm and dry.

Provence is the heart of the Rosé world.

le Canon

Here at Le Canon, we have dedicated ourselves to producing Rosé wines of the highest quality. We have chosen to specialize in Rosé because it is a wine that is becoming increasingly popular and fashionable. Consequently, it is the only wine in which national consumption is on the increase.

A wine ideally suited for warm weather, Rosé is perfect as a refreshing, light alternative throughout the year.  In Provence, Rosé is drunk all throughout the day and night, indoors and out, whether as a compliment to food or simply enjoyed on its own.

Ideally served chilled, rose is favoured by many, due its refreshing lightness and low tannins. The Rosé wines that we endeavour to produce are typically halfway between dry and medium, fruity rather than acidic. Their lightness and their pale colour are truly relaxing and enjoyable.
